With its sleek profile, sophisticated combination of materials, thoughtfully designed dual-level desktop, and crafted details such as cork-lined drawers, the Airia Desk and Media Cabinet combines functionality and beauty. Through a process of observation and response and refinement, Ayako Takase and Cutter Hutton sought to create an “intelligent desk that acknowledged technology and the stuff that we accumulate when working, but does so in a subtle, integrated, and intuitive manner.”
