Edward Sofa
A contemporary take on a mid-Century design. Edward uses traditional tufting on the seat combined with contemporary production techniques to produce a refined sofa.
Edward is a contemporary reinterpretation of an American mid-century archetype established by designer Edward Wormley and utilizes a number of new production techniques for improved comfort and a more refined profile.
The combination of several down-filled back cushions with a single seat cushion gives an informal and relaxed appearance. The buttoned seat cushion alludes to the Edward’s mid-century roots yet its proportions and comfort are decidedly contemporary.
Edward is constructed with a durable steel frame featuring an elastic webbing suspension system adapted from the automotive industry. CNC precision cut foam is used for the arms and back to give superior comfort and a tailored appearance.
