Designed by Jasper Morrison, 1998
Part of the popular Glo-Ball Series, the Glo-Ball C ceiling mounted fixture was created by designer Jasper Morrison. Its shape invokes the radiant calm of a full moon. The Glo-Ball C’s diffuser is made of externally acid-etched, hand-blown, flashed opaline glass and a die-cast aluminum threaded ring nut with alodine plating finish. The lamp includes a 30% fiberglass reinforced injection-molded polyamide ceiling fitting and a grey-painted die-case.
Inspiration behind the design: Inspired by the soft and serene glow of a full moon in a clear sky, Jasper Morrison created the Glo Ball series to illuminate the otherworldly magic of the night.
