Floor Lamps

Alteriors' floor lamp collection includes Flos's Arco — one of the most recognized pieces in lighting design history, developed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962 and still manufactured using the same marble base and arcing steel arm construction — alongside sculptural standing fixtures from Foscarini and Bocci's handmade Vancouver-cast glass designs.

The Arco specifically is worth buying carefully: it's one of the most frequently reproduced lamps worldwide, and genuine Flos construction uses real marble and precision-engineered steel that reproductions commonly substitute with lower-quality materials, affecting both stability and long-term durability. Foscarini's floor lamps bring a different range entirely, from the graphic, minimalist Twiggy to bolder sculptural forms developed through the brand's ongoing designer collaborations.

Every floor lamp in this collection is authentic manufacturer lighting from an authorized dealer, sourced directly rather than through resellers. Our team can help you think through scale and placement — the Arco's signature arc over a dining table or seating area needs specific ceiling height and clearance to work properly. Select floor lamps are on display in our Ottawa showroom, genuinely useful for judging scale before committing to a statement piece. We ship floor lamps across Canada for residential and commercial spaces.
