Description
A collection born from the persistent search for new approaches offered by the loom. Telares is a handwoven rug made from Afghan wool that required a considerable amount of groundwork and prototyping to find the desired texture. The result is a looser kilim of curved shapes, unlike traditional kilims that are usually geometric and rectilinear.
By combining the techniques used in kilims and typical dhurries, the nanimarquina team has created a unique rhythm and set of textures through the variation and pressure of fibers.
