The Oris upholstered double bed, also avaiable in other coverings, designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti explores the interaction between form and function through highly expressive aesthetics. The high, square headboard together with the enveloping side members that touch the ground, indicate a measured and rigorous architectural presence. The padded leather or hide covering, punctuated by soft signs of cuts and contrasting stitching, reminder the viewer of the craftsmanship of leather goods and saddlery, defining the distinctive identity of this object.
